Maria Rydzewska is a graduate of the Academy of Music in Cracow in the piano class of Professor Ludwik Stefański. She is also a chamber musician and accompanist and professor at her alma mater, where she held the post of Dean of the Vocal and Acting Department in 2003-2008.
She worked together with renowned soloists, including Kaja Danczowska, Elżbieta Szmytka, Andrzej Dobber and Wiesław Kwaśny. She has made many archival recordings of vocal and instrumental lyrical music.
In 2008 Maria Rydzewska received the Ruth and Ray Robinson “Excellence in teaching” award.
