Nadarzyn Orchestra was founded in 1998, its founder and musical director is Mirosław Chilmanowicz. It is regarded as being one of the best brass bands in the country proof of which is the numerous prizes and distinctions it has attained at brass band festivals and competitions throughout the country and abroad.
The Orchestra performs both in concert hall and outside in dynamic marching parades.
The band has performed many times including Italy, Bulgaria, Germany, the Czech Republic and Ukraine. In May 2009 the band toured in China during the 9th Artistic Festival in Beijing (including the scenes Tianqiao Theatre and the Academy of Music). In October 2009 the band took part in the 72nd Pulaski Parade in New York in December of this year, orchestra concerts in Singapore and Malaysia. During this tour musicans participated, among others in the Festival of Brass Bands in Singapore (gala concert was held in one of the most modern concert halls in the world - the Esplanade Concert Hall). In Malaysia, at the invitation of Princess Johor Baru participated in a charity concert for the Red Crescent.
Nadarzyn Orchestra has won many festivals at home and abroad. The most important achievements include: first place during the XX National Fire Brigade Brass Band Festival in Krynica Zdroj (June 2009), a gold medal at the International Festival in Rastede (Germany 2008), first place in the ceremonial drill, at the International Festival in Giulianowa (Italy 2011). The artistic achievements are also recorded three CDs.
In 2008 the Polish Minister for Culture and National Heritage awarded the Orchestra a Medalfor "Service to Polish Culture"
